Molly is graduating! Molly and Macy have been best friends for as long as I can remember. So happy we got to grab some pictures of her the other day. :)
This senior session started out like any other. The sun was wonderful; which was perfect for Macy (sun flare don’t care) — she LOVES sunny pictures.
During this session I had 1 big, BIG secret to keep. By the end of this day, Macy would be engaged.
Not sure what she is laughing at but I love it.
Ok, remember the engagement secret? I texted Kyle (Macy’s soon to be fiancé) telling him we were about finished with pictures. I was told to stall because he wasn’t quite ready. Here is the ‘stalling’ location. From a photographer perspective, I was SO happy about the stalling. From a sister/secret keeper perspective, not so much…
The plan was to end Macy’s senior session in a field by our parent’s house. Upon arriving at the field, our plans quickly change. I switched between video & picture in order to grab the moment. Mom and Beth (Kyle’s mom) were on the other side of the tank filming too!
This is a still from a video…
Another image taken straight from a video. It is just too cute of a moment to leave on a video. Who cares if it is a smidge out of focus?!
AND the day sure wasn’t over. Kyle had friends and family waiting at my parent’s house to celebrate — a graduation party. Yep, a lot of the guests had no idea about the engagement plan!
There are so many more pictures I could post… I decided to stick with outdoor pictures. :)
Here is Amber and Tanner’s Granbury wedding. A big thanks to these two and their wedding party for being SO flexible. Due to the rain, we had to change a few things BUTTT I’d say it was a success.Excited for these two!
‘Getting Ready’ pictures might be my favorite.
These custom made shirts were perfect. Shout out to Tashli Wilson!
Tanner’s gift to Amber before the wedding: an infinity bracelet from James Avery. A VERY (see what I did there…) fitting gift!
I got chills when this happened. First of all meet Chad (Tanner’s dad)…
see that?! THAT is Tanner’s late grandfather’s wedding band. Tanner, at the time, had no idea about this wedding band switch.
Shortly after the opening prayer, a phone rang… Amber’s phone! She said something like, “Who is calling me?!” It was too funny.
Note: Grandpa’s wedding band.
Annnnnnnnd they’re married! Thankful for no rain immediately after the ceremony. I just HAD to get a few more outdoor pictures!Right image: my favorite— Amber, you are stunning!
By this time it was beginning to drizzle…
Then it was off to the reception.
A wedding guest pointed out this double rainbow.
Dinner, candy, cake, and toasts.
We were thrilled to be part of your big day! Congrats again.
These two are gettin’ hitched in June a.k.a. we get to welcome one sweet woman into our family! It was a bit chilly the day we took these photos BUTTT I love the way they turned out.
You know me… I love a good tree!
See the lower right image? I can hear Laura’s laugh. Macy’s favorites.
I love it when Macy gets better shots than me… she won this entire location.
Yep, this is hers too. My favorite.
The ‘grungy-ness’ of this location makes me happy…. even if there are cardboard boxes piled up!
Love. Love. Love. These.
After taking the image on the right, I may have squealed with utmost satisfaction!
Beanies and The Neptune.
Then it was off to Beans & Franks to warm up with coffee & tea. Are you kidding me with this cuteness? My view on the left. Macy’s on the right. Not sure who wins this one.
Its HEEEERE! Rachel & Kalin’s wedding has been one of our favorites so far. I don’t know if it is because they come from two of the most genuine families we know, or if it was the beautiful weather that day?
There is so much going on here: curling hair, writing MOH toast, and transferring vows from phone to paper!
…meanwhile… the Groom & Groomsmen arrive.
…and do groomsmen things.
Shoes with personality.Something blue.
Carly, the MOH, helping with those lovely lace sleeves.
I believe I said something like, “Hey! Act like you’re helping each other get ready,” and BOOM they did this.
Rachel: You made a gorgeous Bride!! — and I love me a good bouquet.
Men in tuxes. It never gets old!
Picture request: socks. Check!
Oh, so handsome!
LOOOOOK both Dads! One of my favorites.
Its just pure greatness when couples write their own vows.
One of the many reasons photographing weddings is my favorite —– getting to peek during prayers to see such sweetness.
Annnd they’re married!
These images happened exactly 3 minutes after being pronounced husband & wife.
Now, its 4:42PM. Thanks Kalin.
Fun fun FUN wedding party! Seriously.
I went inside to get the family ready for pictures, while Macy stayed back with the videographer to catch this beauty!
The reception site was gorgeous! See the bottom left image? One of the bridesmaids wrote on ALL of the coffee cups for the coffee bar– touché.
Guests were welcomed with Jazz music!
The first dance.
Future brides take note: Rachel knows how to do kid’s tables. Are you kidding me with those personalized coloring pages?
Bling & Bokeh? Yes, please.
Yay! Best day everrr. You two are one of the sweetest couples we know!
